Tennis rackets, water balloons, crabby, and school

More beers that Chris has tried recently:

My £1 each tennis rackets from Poundland. (Ha, a pack of 3 tennis balls was more than the racket at £2). We are staying at this place, Chycara, in Cornwall next month that has tennis courts so I think this £6 investment will be worth it. Why not? :)

Ethan only had school from 8:45-noon this week so it didn't really work with the workout classes (except for LBT on Thurs.) or allow enough time to venture places so Hailey and I stuck around here and did errands, housework and went shopping, for the most part.

These kids are obsessed with their minion forks, it's the simple things:

On what might be one of the last warm sunny days, we did water balloons. You can see the progression of Hailey reacting to getting hit by one of the water balloons:

Margie came and watched the kids on Wednesday night so Chris and I could have a nice Prime Rib dinner at Saltern's for our 7th anniversary (Our anniversary is technically Sunday but Margie has visitors then. Haha, we'll be celebrating at Legoland--so romantic.) The wine we had was really good--need to see if we can purchase some more elsewhere! Great to get out on a date and so thankful that Margie babysat for us!

Hailey wearing her new crabby shirt from grandma and grandpa. Quite fitting some mornings:

Strawberries and picnic lunch outside:

All smiles (and not at all crabby here):

Hailey and I hanging out this week and coloring. Look at those dimples:

So cute but my is she a handful lately! All these little games she plays (purposely dropping things, refusing to eat her food, hitting and throwing etc.). Testing all the limits.

Ethan and I got our hair cut at the £10 place the other day (mine turned out fine-just a simple trim but Ethan's got a little butchered and uneven--always a crap shoot, ah well). Anyways, his hair stylist asked Ethan if he liked living in England and he said "It's a lot smaller here. I want to go back to the US." No sugar-coating it from this one. :)
