Courgette and Paper Dolls

We checked out this book (cool book BTW!) from the library and were inspired to make some paper dolls. Hailey ripped hers apart (like the kid in the book that cut them up) and Ethan told me "Yours are nice but mine are better." Well, okay then. :)

I found this recipe for Raspberry Zucchini Bread and set out to make that (since I can't have pumpkin bread and so we can use some of our raspberry stash). Discovered that Zucchini is called Courgette here! The bread turned out really well and was a good substitute.

The kids got some little pumpkins (we will probably have to get others that are bigger for carving but didn't have room on the stroller/didn't want to carry and these were more for fun) that the kids have been rolling around the kitchen. One of them (Ethan's slightly larger little baking pumpkin) rolls surprisingly well!

Last, Hailey is starting to learn her colors and it cracks me up that she always wants to call red "Blue". Ethan still to this day always mixes those colors up (maybe she picked it up from him). :)
