Rocky visit

Rocky was really great with the kids, running around and playing with them, playing Legos, reading them books-they loved him! He's a kid at heart! It was fun to have him around and Ethan was calling him "my friend" all weekend. Him and Chris kept ganging up on me though-it was make fun of Heather weekend.

Saturday we were moving a little slow after Friday night. We're just not in our 20's anymore. :)

We got coffee at Cafe Nero to try and bounce back and went from there. It was pretty windy and threatening to rain so we went for a walk along the pier (we are going to do the Poole historical walk but we didn't pay any attention to the signs or points of interest). We did come across the cool pirate ship that we got to go on and look around and also went in the Life Boat Center and did some walking on the beach. Then we grabbed pizza and pie at The Stable (overpriced but really good). We had a lamb, mint, sweet potato pizza that was really good!

Then we all took naps and Chris grilled fish and potatoes for dinner. After the kids went to bed we tried out our new game: The Great British Train Game. It seemed complicated at first but then wasn't so bad once we got the hang of it (we just didn't know most of the question answers--even Rocky the Brit). Sometimes we'd make a lucky or educated guess. :) We sampled a bunch of different ciders as well-our favourites of the 5 were the NZ lime and apple and another NZ one (apple and papaya or something).
