They have buntings up all along High Street now. Not sure what it is for (maybe since they are starting up the Thurs. night live performances and fireworks?) but it looks very festive!
We tried an Italian restaurant closeby that had good ratings: Lupa 3. Very tasty, two thumbs up.
We checked out "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and some kids books on the Loch Ness Monster from the library (and tons of other books-we are over our 20book limit). It was fun for Ethan to see the Movie featuring Notre Dame since we were just there.
I told Hailey she could scoop out the last of the Nutella with her finger and she got down to business and instinctively started licking out the jar. Would hate for any Nutella to go to waste. :)
Today we used pipe cleaners (I had kind of forgotten about them and all the possibilities for using them for random things) and made flower crowns with the flowers from the patio. Was hard to get a pic with both of them but I tried. We drew with chalk to wish Gma Suzie a happy bday today. I think we will do water balloons later, perhaps. Finally, a nice Friday (it usually rains on Fri when Ethan doesn't have school)!
